CalOptima’s mission is to provide members with access to quality health care services delivered in a cost-effective and compassionate manner. CalOptima serves nearly 800,000 members, including low-income families, adults, seniors and people with disabilities. One in four Orange County residents is a CalOptima member through four programs, including Medi-Cal, OneCare Connect Cal MediConnect Plan (Medicare-Medicaid Plan), OneCare (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan) and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Since 2014, CalOptima has been the top Medi-Cal plan for quality in California, according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance. CalOptima achieves this success by operating a unique delivery model based on partnership with private health networks.
