Institute of Gerontology – CSUF

The mission of the Institute of Gerontology at California State University Fullerton is the advancement of successful aging practices through research, education, and community service. Programs and projects developed and sponsored by the Institute, or affiliated with the Institute, will promote successful aging within the broad parameters of wellness of mind and body and through the implementation of appropriate public policies. The Institute will enhance the dissemination of information pertaining to gerontology, and shall engender multi- and inter- disciplinary research and projects, promoting a university environment that is congenial for such research and activities in gerontology. The Institute shall foster communication of ideas and information concerning gerontology.
