Radiant Futures
Women’s Transitional Living Center (WTLC) was first established in 1976 by the Orange County Chapter of the National Organization for Women after noticing there was a multitude of women and children sleeping in their cars in parking lots to escape from their abusive partners for the night. WTLC’s vision was to end the cycle of violence by helping individuals and families escape the depths of domestic violence and exploitation, but as the years have gone by, WTLC became more than just a shelter and we began to service more than just women.
As of January 25, 2023, WTLC is now Radiant Futures. With our name and logo change, as did our vision and mission. We envision a future where everyone in our community lives and thrives free from violence and harm. Our mission is to build a safer community by providing crisis support, services for all survivors, and education to prevent domestic violence and trafficking.
