South County Outreach

South County Outreach is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, human services organization that has been providing safety-net services to Orange County residents for 30 years. Our housing program includes 17 South County Outreach-owned condominiums that provide transitional and affordable housing, as well as rapid re-housing opportunities. Our homeless prevention services include case management, rental assistance, and utility assistance. In addition, the Food Pantry, the largest in South Orange County, provides fresh produce, lean meat, dairy, bread, and nonperishable food items at no cost to our clients.  All of our programs address the needs of low-income households at the most basic level – food, shelter, and economic stability. The health of the community is dependent on the health of its residents. Our Food Pantry provides free, nutritious foods so residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness can meet their nutritional needs while re-allocating “food dollars” toward other necessities. Additionally, our Housing, Homeless Prevention, Case Management, and Workforce Development services further support the economic stability of all low-income residents.
